Senior Portraits

Once in a while… | Portland Maine Senior Portraits Photographer

… I get the honor of photographing senior portraits.  I do not advertise or promote myself as a senior portrait photographer, so when I get to do one, it is so nice.

So, this session is from October, but with a new baby and a busy last few months with sessions, I am finally getting around to posting on this blog.  So you’ll see a lot more posts, now that I am on “winter vacation.” :)

Well, this lovely young lady goes to Eastpoint Christian Church with me.  Actually, through this session we have new friends at church.  Her mother is so wonderful and now helps with the moms group that I am a part of, called MOPS

I look back at these photos and amazed at her beauty and was reminded of the fun session we had.  I think I captured her inner and outer beauty quite well. :)  What a sweet young lady and family!

{off to college} | Senior Portraits Cape Elizabeth Photographer

I rarely get to photograph senior portraits - so this was such a treat.  It was the perfect evening, with the perfect backdrop, and a perfect subject.

I remember this young lady when we first started going to small groups at our church.  We were the only family with young children, and she was so kind to watch our kids. Her and her sister were so great with my children!  Now, she has graduated from high school and is off to college!  What a great journey she has ahead of her!

{four against one} | Cape Elizabeth Family Photography

It came easy with this family to capture their personality and style.  I guess it helps that I know this family from church, and that they felt comfortable with me to be themselves.

I was fighting sciatica pains that week, but when I started photographing this family, I completely forgot about my pains!  I had so much fun clicking away at this fun family and it helps that they are just gorgeous!

It is evident that this family loves and appreciate each other.  I feel so blessed to be able to capture their family portraits before all the growing girls go their separate ways.
