My answer was immediately YES, when one of my dearest friend's asked me to photograph her adorable kids for Father's Day gifts! As a photographer, I see children that I just have to capture with my lens.... and these two are one of them! Just pure sweetness! Hope they bring smiles to your face! Happy summer!!!
Baby belly. Beautiful mother. Loving kids. Through the lens of my camera, it was evident that this little baby is sure blessed to have such a loving family. I sure enjoyed capturing these beautiful moments of our neighbors!
you bring such joy and beauty into this world. What a pleasure and blessing it was to photograph this new family of three!
These boys. I. can't. even..... put into words how I feel about this family.
I feel so blessed that I got to capture the sweet. pure. joy. (and craziness) of these boys. They are so full of personality and so sweet to each other..... which is all because of their amazing parents!
Photography has been on the back burner the last couple of years, but sessions like this makes me appreciate and cherish the families I get to know, the talents God has given me, and the warm fuzzy feelings photography does to me.
Christmas is just around the corner! Do you send out Christmas Cards? I am running a Mini-Session special. You'll receive a 30 minute session at the location of your choice (within 5 miles from Decatur, GA) and 5-7 high resolution finished images for you to print on your own for $250.
Check out this recent session of my friend from over 20 years ago. He was my Sunday School teacher when I was in high school! It was such a blessing to photograph his beautiful family!
And she is still one of my best friends.
I love that we are in the same city now so I can watch her family grow from three to four and capture it with my camera. Meet Louis. I can't even. he. is. so. cute.
I recently did a session where we searched for great wall pieces for their backdrops. Then I realized, I never shared our Christmas images from last year. Each year, my husband and I get excited about figuring out where to place our kids in front of. It is amazing living around all the Living Walls art pieces. Atlanta has changed so much since we moved away 12 years ago! I think this year, we will have to find a wall with this guy's work on it!
7 years ago an amazing event took place in this space. There was dancing, kisses, clicks by cameras, and even singing. I was able to witness these two wed 7 years ago, and now capture their new memories with their sweet baby. This threesome are amazing people!!
Since moving to the city, we thought it was appropriate that our session for our Christmas card should be one of the beautiful painted walls in Atlanta. It was hard to pick, but this one is under an overpass for the Marta (subway) off N. Dekalb in Kirkwood.
It hasn’t been the easiest transition, going from living on 10 acres to only having .63 acre. And it has been a hard transition having my husband not work at home anymore. He used to work 10 hour days, but only 4 days a week. So I had Friday-Sunday to do sessions and work on photos. Now he works at an office, 5 days a week. I didn’t realize the blessing it was for my husband to be at home. It has been draining, so my business has been put on hold.
I am still tired, like all the time, however I just cannot step away from what I love to do. So hopefully when this cold weather disappears, I can start doing what I love again! Look out Atlanta peeps, I will be having a special promotion to start out my business here.
