Surprisingly I had the time and energy to make homemade Valentine’s Day cards with my kiddos. My oldest son is very much into Star Wars right now, so I knew I wanted to make something special for him. I saw the “Yoda One for Me” when I did a search on-line, and I found this cartoon image of Yoda when I did a Google image search. I just put it together, printed it on cardstock, gave it some rounded corners, and then taped it on another cardstock paper to make it more sturdy. Blue signed his name and then taped a lollipop on the back with a heart sticker.
For my daughter, I found this idea on Pinterest. I didn’t want to bother with ribbon, so I made little bag covers and taped it on using double sided tape. Berkeley helped put the Teddy Grahams and Gummi Bears in the bags. She also put a few bear valentine stickers on the back of them.
I am so thankful and blessed that I can stay at home with my kids and create things for them that they will remember. I hope you are having a great Valentine’s Day with your family!
